This Sub-Zero was a member of the rival Lin Kuei clan from China. But, that was not all, Sonya. The entire Shinrai Ryu was wiped out along with Hanzo's wife and son. This...this is unforgivable. And this is why Hanzo Hasahi agreed to become the specter Scorpion."
A hint of deep pain was now visible on Scorpion's features.
"I was aware of the risks. But, it does not matter what happens to me. Shang Tsung and Shao Khan can lie all they want. They told me some of my past, and I could tell what they said of my past was true. My memories have not gone forever. Some of them have begun to awaken. I only made allies as far as we were useful to each other, and that includes Raiden and you Earth warriors."
