Sonya couldn't argue for that, nor could she argue that she wasn't one of those people at one point: things that could be explained could be dealt with, but how does one explain it when a man shows the ability to produce fire, or suck the living soul out of a man's body.

"For me, it was only a year before I arrived on the island." She looked at her over her tea, considering. "Don't suppose they have the game 'mortal kombat' in your world, do they?"

She wasn't sure what it was that made her want to talk about it, but her times with Helen showed her that she seemed to be the sort worth confining it-that she didn't judge or freeze up or anything of that sort if Sonya decided to talk about it.
