Sonya was pretty sure that Helen was just being polite, but she still made sure to be quick about things: Joey had a wet diaper that needed to be changed and Dani seemed to fuss whenever Sonya tried to put her down in the crib, both girls needed a quick wipe down after walking and scooting around in the dirt.
With one hand, she set 'The sound of Johnny Cash' album on 'repeat' on her ipod and set it on its speaker. This and a few moments of the bounce and walk with Dani before both girls seemed settled enough to be put up for naps.
Well, they were put in their cribs atleast and Sonya hoped they'd take a nap, but with them it was hard to say.
She finally returned, pulling out a glass container of mint tea and two clay tumblers. "Sorry for the wait, Dani sometimes gets fussy."
Well, they both got fussy: it was just a matter of 'who was fussier than who'.
She poured Helen a cup of tea before finally settling down herself. Even in the cool shelter of the hut, the cold tea tasted nice and refreshing against the midday heat.
