Sonya looked over at the girls who were making towers out of the blocks. "They've been putting things in their mouth for awhile, I've gotten used to it."

Thankfully they're also starting to understand that just because something could go into their mouths doesn't mean it'll taste good. "Now it's a case of running after them when they decide to try and gnaw on something."

She wouldn't envy herself either. "I referred to them as piranhas when I was pregnant for them, so maybe it carried over." She was only partially joking.

Sonya turned her attention to Helen. She wasn't really sure if she was in the mood for company, but she did know that it was nice to talk to someone who not only knew how to talk in full sentences, but there was also something rather comforting in the fact that she was more experienced.

Maybe she just had better luck with people used to dealing in the supernatural.

"If you're done with your jog, you want to come inside?" What the hell, the worst Helen could do was refuse the invite. "I've some mint tea that's kept chilled." It was too damn hot for the regular kind and lord knew she could grow enough mint for a steady supply.
